More about the restaurant: Kacyo

Founded in Japan way back in 1927, Kacyo is excited to welcome you to their brand new Singapore outlet. Once a haven for the social elite, the restaurant is now open to the general public, providing the same luxurious service and environment as it did at its original premises almost 90 years ago. The Keng Saik location is gorgeously decorated, fusing elements of classic Japanese design with modern art and furnishings. Offering the same dishes as the original Kacyo, this branch on Bukit Pasoh Road sticks to tradition, and you’ll taste the difference in each bite.

Thinking about making a Kacyo booking?

Open every day of the week except for Sunday, Kacyo offers legendary Japanese dining at their restaurant on Singapore’s Bukit Pasoh Road. Located just moments from Outram Park MRT station, this local hotspot is found right in the heart of Keong Saik. Once a ryotei, an exclusive Japanese restaurant that refused first-time visitors, the Tokyo original was a truly VIP affair. Now, open to the public, diners can experience the high life at Kacyo.

For dinner at Singapore’s Kacyo, we recommend the omakase course, a chef’s selection of the restaurant's finest dishes including sashimi, grilled fish, seasonal tempura, Japanese beef steak, taichazuke Japanese rice soup and a dessert. The lunch options here are also excellent, and include box lunch sets with tempura, chirashi and inaniwa noodles made using premium flour made in Hokkaido. You’ll feel like royalty at Kacyo in Keong Saik – booking in advance is essential to guarantee a table at this high-end establishment.
