Located inside The Southbridge Hotel, right in the heart of Singapore’s Chinatown and a short walk away from the Chinatown Mass Rapid Transit Station, Jazz Bar Restaurant is just as popular with locals as it is with hotel guests, with its stylish surroundings, extensive whisky selection and cosy, speakeasy vibe making it the perfect place, whether it's for a catch up with friends over some dinner, to celebrate a special occasion or enjoy some live music. On the menu you’ll find an array of international favourites, from lamb curry to Italian pizzas, mini slider burgers, spicy chicken wings, black pepper scallops and bacon-wrapped chicken sausages. To guarantee a table at Jazz Bar Restaurant, making a reservation in advance is recommended.
We got the indoor dining room. The ambience was good, although no live music playing on Sunday evening. The service was excellent. The roasted chicken and burger were awesome. The spaghetti marinara was disappointing though. It did not mix well. My friend could not finish it. We also played their dice game to get a free highball! Same number, free highball. Even number, half price. Odd number, special price. We got same number and even number! The highball felt a bit diluted with a lot of ice in it. Apply for membership for free. Nice ambience for group gathering and there is a live band which my friends they all love it will patronise this place again. The staffs over there were all very nice and attentive.
An average restaurant with just average food. The ambience had nothing special about it. The live band was impressive. Great voices and one of the best performances I have seen to date.
The was not much jazz ironically, though the ambience was good. Cocktail selection could be improved, as the bartender could not whip up common minor variations of drinks
