About Jam Restaurant
A gourmet restaurant with sleek contemporary furnishings and an enviable city centre location, Jam could easily content itself with being one of Liverpool’s very best casual fine-dining eateries. However, this new venue on Sir Thomas Street goes much further than that, offering hearty brunches, exquisite afternoon tea sets and sensational cocktails, all with the same eye for detail and dashes of creativity as their first-class dinner menu. Book a table now and head on into the city centre to try them out for yourself.Go to Jam Restaurant Page

Jam has given Liverpool city centre something it has been missing – even if few may have felt the longing before it arrived. A very attractive contemporary venue in a recently refurbished building on Sir Thomas Street, Jam evolves from a buzzing brunch spot to a top-shelf teahouse to a gourmet restaurant to a stylish cocktail bar as the day wears on. Unlike other places that try to do it all, however, the quality of Jam’s food and service does not suffer from trying to be a jack of all trades – in fact, they are masters of all.
Each and every brunch dish at Jam on Sir Thomas Street is photo-worthy, from a colourful breakfast of eggs avocado to their lunch-worthy Asian duck breast salad topped with chilli, spring onion, cucumber, peanut, mixed leaves and honey dressing. Afternoon tea is a real treat here, and as you may have guessed they make probably Liverpool’s tastiest homemade jams, which star on scones arranged on tiered platters with just the right amount of kitsch but more cool. The gourmet dinner menu rolls out finely tuned contemporary creations like their salmon fishcakes with wholegrain mustard dressing, 8oz rump steak or the classic cottage pie. Jam is a superb addition to Liverpool city centre’s dining scene, and it’s already essential to book if you want to find out what the fuss is about.

Beautiful decor, the staff were very friendly and not at all intrusive. The afternoon tea was lovely, everything was lovely and fresh and very very tasty and topped off with a lovely glass of Prosecco.
Fabulous as ever when my Mum & I visited the restaurant on Friday. The staff made us feel very welcome as always and the food was superb. I cannot rate this place highly enough! ☆☆☆☆☆
We had a brilliant Prosecco Afternoon Tea experience at Jam. It is trendy and looks really nice with its decorations and has a good atmosphere. The food was really good and the staff were brilliant. We would definitely book again as we loved it. Thank you.
We really enjoyed the prosecco afternoon tea the sandwiches were so fresh and they let us swap some of fillings also the scones were fresh and warm
The place was actually empty when we arrived, and apart from ourselves, remained so for the entire evening. Simply cannot understand why though. The environment was vibrant but not gaudy. The service was excellent (as one might expect considering there was only us to serve), and although we did enjoy their full attention, our waitress was never intrusive. The food we chose was quite simple (burgers and ice cream sundaes), but was presented wonderfully and tasted just as good, for example the burger was gorgeously juicy and the home made chips especially pleased my partner. We both had gluten free options, due to my requirements, but neither of us could really notice any difference. Overall, we were both so impressed with our evening at Jam Cafe and will DEFINITELY visit again the next time we're in Liverpool. I believe the afternoon teas are worth trying.
We found Jam on the Coeliac Sanctuary listings for Liverpool and could not have been happier. Literally one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. My so and I had the Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royal (Eggs Benedict but with Salmon) and the hollandaise sauce was the best I have ever had. My wife hat the Colombian Eggs, and my daughter a scrambled eggs and bacon sandwich. All were spectacular. Wish we were staying in Liverpool longer so we could try dinner there. A definite must for anyone, especially if you are gluten free. Non food related, the music was great.
Although the service was very friendly and helpful, it did feel rather slow. There was no explanation of what was being served for afternoon tea or of the choice of teas available which was a "selling point" on the website. The food was generally ok, however the scones were extremely disappointing - they were very heavy, dense and cake-like not the normal texture expected at all (the jam was delicious!). I hope these points are addressed because "Jam" could be an even better venue for afternoon tea.
This was our first visit to Jam, Liverpool. We were a party of six, with one being coeliac. I emailed ahead to make sure that their menu included gluten free options and I received a very quick response assuring me that everything on the menu could be made gluten free! I booked a table online approx 2 days in advance. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and certainly has the wow factor. The service was excellent from beginning to end - nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect and presented beautifully. We will definitely be visiting Jam again in the not so distance future.
My three friends and I went for the prosecco afternoon tea and it was wonderful. The location is calm and comfortable with very helpful staff. The food was delicious and they catered perfectly for one of our dietary needs. I would thoroughly recommend Jam, a lovely experience.
This new restaurant is all gluten free, which is great, as I have coeliac disease. Jam is decorated very tastefully and very comfortable. The food was great, the only criticism is that the main meal came a few minutes after finishing the starter. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We shall certainly go there again.
