Steaks and more. That’s the motto at Jack’s Place and when they say more, they mean more. More in the way beef and lamb from animals that have been loved and fed with grass. More in the way of succulent chicken dishes from the grill or the BBQ. More in the way of plenty of Jack’s favourites that Singapore loves. See. More. You’ll find this particular branch of Jack’s Place in Alexandra, hidden away inside Anchorpoint on Alexandra Road. It’s more than worth taking the trip because it’s not just the food that is good. The service here is always top quality and the ambient setting makes relaxing no task at all. Yep, you could say that Jack’s Place has a winning recipe when it comes to steakhouses, and that’s exactly why there are over 20 of them in Singapore. Reserve your table now.
Easy to make reservation in couple of seconds through on-line. No need to make phone call reservation. Highly recommended for first time users to make reservation
Great service from staff, delicious food, short waiting time! We had a great time as staff also helped to celebrate my father’s bday! Thank you!
Serene, the manager, was really hospitable and awesome! Truly enjoyed our time there! Thank you so much for the warm hospitality and great food + ambience
Had their Jack's Club sandwich. The bread was hard like a rock & the chicken steak was not fresh. Food was average. Could try other restaurant as this is overpriced for portion of food
Went there for dinner on a Thursday evening. Restaurant was not very crowded, staff were attentive and prompt. The ambience was good, with a gentle lighting that makes one feel quite comfortable. For starters we had a Shitake mushroom soup and a Jack's Chef Salad. The soup arrived hot with two slices of garlic bread. It wasn't too thick nor runny and had a decent amount of mushroom. The salad was not bad either, coming with chicken, roast lamb and ham slices albeit the cheese was processed cheddar. For mains we had a Jack's Special Steak (medium), N.Z. Ribye Steak (medium rare) and a Lobster Thermidor. The Jack's Special Steak was done nicely, with the inside red and hot with no blood dripping. The Ribye steak was OK - although it was ordered medium rare, it came more like medium. Perhaps it was because of the thinner steak compared to the tenderloin. There was a good amount of veggies with both steaks as well. The lobster was flavorful, just the meat was a tad too firm. Portions were good, I didn't find it too much nor too little. All in all it was a decent meal, with room for improvement on some of the quality of the food, especially considering the prices for the steaks and lobster are not cheap! The service and ambience made up for the shortfall in the food department though. Will be back again, to try some of the other stuff.
I had a pleasant experience with Jack's Place. The atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable, and the service staff was very helpful. The steak was very delicious. If there is anything that is wrong with the restaurant, it is that it is a bit pricy, but good food and good atmosphere make it worthy.
This tastes good! Mmmmmm yummy! What a delicious dish! What a nice chicken! The peas are wonderful! Thanks to Quandoo making this booking experience so easy.
I'll do the place a bit rule rule but for people who stayed in west,it's still a driver both distance to catch the dinner on and with the weekday evening
This time round the steak was tender and delicious. Serving was fast and prompt. Waiter and waitress were polite and courteous with smile on their faces. Will recommend friends there.
One of my favourites all these years. But was rather disappointed at recent visits. Supposedly order the best beef steak at >$35 but was so disappointed with the quality. Texture was powdery instead of juicy. Will not visit for a while.
