Not to be confused with an Australian rapper of the same name, Iggy’s is the brainchild of homegrown restaurateur Ignatius Chan, who had founded this multiple award-winning restaurant known for its bold and experimental takes on European and Asian cuisine. Tucked away on the third storey of the Hilton Singapore in Orchard, lunch at Iggy’s is usually a two- to five-course affair, while dinner features a lavish spread of six to nine dishes – all designed with the aesthetic in mind. Expect starters like homemade crispy taro chips and burnt oysters, as well as plates of pork cheek tagliatelle and Gillardeau oysters with caviar, followed by a jackfruit ice cream sandwich for dessert. In addition to that, the owner’s background as a sommelier means you can count on the best wine recommendations to go with every exquisite dish that graces your table. Great creative food with attention to detail. Extensive wine list focusing on red and white burgundy from a big variety of vintages. Mr. Iggy is a charming host who is very welcoming and eager to assist with the wine list.
We had a private room to ourselves for our birthday dinner party of 7 people. The ambience was good. Dining experience was good in all aspects: quality, creativity, presentation. Service was excellent. Overall a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
An excellent fine dining experience with an innovative match of courses and contrasting tastes. Good ambience and attentive service in an unhurried relaxed atmosphere. A pair of inconsiderate businessmen who talked and sniggered too loudly was a distraction.
Excellent food, wine, attention, service and cozy ( with nice music). A place to return to, again and again. Another proof that a Michelin star is not always a requirement for excelent dining.
Dishes were creative, well-executed and memorable. The signature pasta, sakura prawn cappellini with lobster oil and kombu, was excellent. The pasta was not hot, but very pleasantly warm, and perfectly al dente.
You can taste the distinct flavour of all the ingredients. The pigeon is an absolute must try, tender, juicy and totally not gamey at all. I will definitely go back soon again.
Good ambience, food presentation was thoughtfully crafted. Food was tasty, service was prompt as well. Only issue was that the restaurant was not easy to find due to the upgrading works on the 3rd level of Hilton Hotel
We dined for lunch and the food was sensational and of the highest standard from start to finish. It will remain one of the most memorable dining experiences of my life.
We had the festive menu. Food is pseudo Japanese and very flavorful. The main course is great (Kagoshima Wagya) and melts in the mouth. The staff is attentive and quick to respond to its needs.
Lovely food good atmosphere and great host. Degustation menu to be thoroughly recommended varied shellfish, seafood and meat dishes all delightful portions. Excellent sommelier and good choice of wines
