Pretty empty when we got there. Guess the virus was a factor. Had the set at 48. It was decent, nothing spectacular. Portions were a tad small for my liking as well.

Food was very tasty - everything was well-cooked, thoughtful and the ingredients were fresh. I had the $88 seven-course Christmas omakase set and it was great value for money. We were one of the very few tables on a Friday night so I was surprised given the quality of the menu, but I think the problem with the spacious restaurant is that the overall atmosphere and deco is like that of a mid-end family restaurant, although the food feels higher-end; the music was also weird and deflating balloons around weren’t really suitable for what the place is selling. I think it’ll be better if you sit at the bar for a classier Japanese restaurant vibe, but we were three and wanted to talk. The restaurant can definitely charge more for the quality of food (I would pay!) but in a more appropriate setting.

One of my favorite dining experiences of 2019. Amongst the most value for money Omakase dinners in Singapore - the beef and the seafood were superb.

Business lunch. Pretty quiet. We each had the set. For 48 it was ok as the portions weren’t large at all. Service was extremely pleasant.

Atmosphere wasn’t like a Japanese restaurant, food was average with small portions as well as expensive. It was freezingly cold inside
