Oh, and you can order all of the restaurant’s cocktails in jug-size proportions, so hit up Fuego’s when you’re looking to start the party off right.

But it isn’t just about drinking at Fuego’s. The food at this Southport Mexican restaurant is on point, and offers plenty of Spanish-style tapas to keep gourmands pleased. Mix and match tapas like pork picadillo, boquerone (deep-fried whitebait) or the incredible tortilla Espanola, a Spanish-style omelette made with potatoes, onions, eggs and parsley. If you’re up for Mexican, you can’t go wrong with mains like the chicken enchilada pie, mushroom risotto, vegetable enchiladas, pulled pork quesadillas, or the spicy Mexican meatballs – actually, you can’t go wrong with any choice here at this restaurant in the centre of Southpoint. Excellent service & food! Would have liked to have seen some local beer being offered in bottles but their sangria more than made up for it!

Great atmosphere and great food. We've been once before a few years ago (we're not local) and decided to come back when we were in the area again. Glad we did!

Went for friends birthday. The restaurant has rustic decor. The sangria went down very well and our food was delicious. Fun atmosphere and service was excellent.
