Unique cafe with local olden days toys available. Food was good but drinks can be better.

My friends and I liked the Laksa Pasta and the Le Char Kuey with dry Laksa and with chicken bak hwa. The pasta is very rich and flavourful but slightly over on the saltiness. The char Kuey is an innovative and tasty treat. While it is more greasy than a baguette or croissant sandwich, it is more satisfying and delicious. Their truffle fries taste slightly buttery and we suggested to them to go easy on salt. Irish cream Mud pie and shakes were nothing special but it was nonetheless a sweet and perfect accompaniment to the test of the meal. We enjoyed the friendly service of their staff and there was one group of customers who were having a jewellery workshop at the restaurant and another group was playing cards while munching on charros (baked churros); they seem to be regulars and very familiar with the staff. The decor in the shop is impressive and nostalgic especially for those born in the 60s and 70s. A lovely way to spend an afternoon and evening with friends. And best part is they don't have service charge or GST.

I love this restaurant! I brought my mum there for her birthday celebration, wanting to give her a surprise as I knew this cafe was one of a kind! She was so happy! There was many unique toys and stuffs which we all used to have from the 60s to 90s and it brought back many fond memories! =D The staff there was also very friendly, approachable and helped introduce about the theme of their cafe. The food was great, up to standard and to our satisfaction! Overall, this cafe is a MUST-GO! Worth trying. Set away from the busy life of SG. Food is value-for-money, great-tasting and love the small, cozy ambience!

Love the ambiance and the blast from the past concept. Food was unique especially the Le Chay Kueh, which is a must try. Not the best location to have as not many will be able to find nor have easy access to parking. Need more public awareness for this place to truly succeed, which I hope they will. Will most definitely go back again.
