Anyone even slightly in the know about the joys of Vietnamese cuisine will know that pho, as Vietnam’s national dish, is eaten day in, day out across the whole of the country. At Eat Fuh in Sydney’s Marrickville, therefore, pho takes centre stage, and the mission is simple: turn pho lovers into Fuh-natics. How do they do it? Eat Fuh pride themselves on authenticity, fresh ingredients and booming Vietnamese flavours, that’s how. The restaurant is excellently-located on Illawarra Road and the pho has not been going unnoticed – Eat Fuh is wildly popular hence we suggest reserving a table way, way in advance.
Eat Fuh wants you to do just as their name suggests: eat their pho. This beloved Vietnamese dish is taken to the next level at this Sydney restaurant, where they’re slinging out colourful bowls of pho with a range of traditional – and some untraditional – ingredients. At their location on Illawarra Road in Marrickville, you can take a tour of the wide range of pho possibilities the restaurant has to offer, but once you try their signature bowl, we’re sure you won’t look back.
Sydney’s Eat Fuh creates their famous broth inside of a massive vat where they slowly simmer a huge range of ingredients to create their unique, flavourful brew. This delicious base features a range of subtle flavours that blend to create a one of a kind base that comforts and soothes just with the aroma alone. But wait until you taste it – the noodles are cooked to perfection with just the right amount of bite, and the beef is extremely tender and packed with flavour. There’s an open kitchen at this Marrickville restaurant, so you can even watch as the chefs whip up your selection. No matter what you opt for at Eat Fuh, it’s gonna be incredible. Reserve a table ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
I took four people visiting from Hanoi who were keen to try Vietnamese food in Australia. They loved the atmosphere, the hustle and bustle around them and thought the food was delicious. They photographed the outside of the restaurant so they could tell their friends to come.
All good. just the waiting time is a bit too long.
I am a regular there. I took friends from the eastern suburbs who were amazed at the quality and price. I think they'll be back.
A lovely little restaurant. Food and service were great! We order the vegan fuh which was delish with plenty of mushrooms. Went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy but no wait time.
Food was incredible, couldn't fault it, absolutely delicious. The rice paper rolls were out of this world! And the beef Pho 10/10! Book in advance because this place gets busy and for good reason. Thank you Eat Fuh, yum dinner, will be back :)
Eat Fuh has such yummy, fresh food! its fast paced and all the staff offer great service. The BYO option is welcomed and the restaurant design is cute and unfussy.
I've been to Eat Fuh many times, and overall the food is very reliable and delicious. The best dish on the menu (in my opinion) is the beef stew - very hearty and satisfying!
Fabulous!! Beautiful fresh tasty food - incredible staff, attentive yet not invasive. Last to leave, but staff packed up so noiselessly we didn’t realise, and we were not pressured or thrown hints to hurry up at all. Thank you for wonderful, chilled evening, with perfectly presented and exquisitely prepared meals.
Food was great. Had to reorder twice due to sold out items (ie, they ran out...) This is the fourth time this has happened to us at Eat Fuh
The beef stew noodles are delicious, and the rice paper rolls very fresh. Service is usually very prompt and always friendly and courteous. We've been there many times, and they maintain a high level of consistency in the quality and freshness of their dishes. Highly recommended!
