Thinking about making a Drury Lane booking?

While you’re always in for a surprise when you let Drury Lane Cafe’s barista’s whip you up a shot of the daily grind, there are a few standby beverages you can rely on at this Tanjong Pagar Road coffee shop. For Singaporeans who take tea time all the time (we know who you are), Drury Lane lay on great brews like Melbourne Breakfast, Earl Grey Royale, Pumping Pomegranate and, our favourite, the Geisha Getaway. This is all good and well, but a hot pot of tea or aromatic demitasse of fine espresso is nothing without some grub to rub it down.

Indeed, Drury Lane Cafe is packed out with breakfasters and brunchers most days of the week, queueing up down Tanjong Pagar Road for a chance to take a bite out of this star Singapore cafe’s menu. It’s an allday affair, thankfully, but make sure you reserve in advance in order to sample The Big 94, for example, a multigrain tortilla with hot and sweet sriracha maple syrup (!), beef sausage, eggs, BBQ beans, mushrooms and turkey bacon. Opulent and inventive mains like balsamic beer braised beef ribs with truffle quinoa risotto demonstrate how well a cute cafe can pack some serious culinary punch when put to task. And, if you’re needing a different kind of buzz, Drury Lane stock Herrljunga cider and a range of craft beers. Bottoms up!
