I placed my order for one Apple Juice and one Orange Juice with the waitress after arrival and while waiting for the rest. The juices did not come after ordering for more than 30 minutes. After checking with the waiter, he then told me that the Apple Juice was out of stock. If I did not check with them, they would have never updated me. Further, the Orange Juice was only served after chasing them for another two rounds. All together, it took them for 40 minutes to serve just for one glass of juices and this was done after chasing them for 3 times. This restaurant is hopefully slow and irresponsible!

my first lacking experience after years of visiting. they took the wrong order, no apologies nor service recovery. naan was a bit stodgy and lacked the crisp we were used to.

The restaurant was very quiet – only a few other customers. It made for a nice and quite venue to catch-up with a friend. The service was attentive and our orders were taken at an appropriate timing, and delivered with a good timing too (not too fast, not too slow). I was pleased that all the food arrived at the same time. I ordered a cup of Masala tea and it was made fresh – no packet nonsense. It tasted good, a proper refreshing cup of tea and delivered to me to enjoy before the food arrived. I did think the cup was a bit on the small side though. The food was tasty, one of the dishes was quite spicy (which I like, although my friend couldn’t handle it), other dishes not spicy. So it possible to get a good balance if you order carefully (may not be so obvious from the menu which is which though). The staff were friendly and also attentive in pro-actively coming round to top-up our water regularly. The staff did not mind us sitting at the table for the rest of the evening – we left a little bit before closing time. The only problem was that the bill was a bit inaccurate. Not sure why but there were 4x towelettes shown on the bill, when there were only two of us at the table…they corrected that for us. However I noticed today, when writing this review that I missed another mistake on the bill – the Masala Tea was charged as a Pot of Tea ($12++) instead of a Cup of tea ($4++)… so that’s a bit annoying. Mistakes do happen I can understand, but best to check the bill carefully…more carefully than I did…overall, I think it was a good dinner and the venue aided my conversation.
