With its blend of raw wood, dark leathers, and elegant marble that strikes the balance between the rustic and the contemporary, Cook & Brew is a standout among the dining establishments in Marina Bay. Nestled inside the Westin Singapore along Marina View, this gastropub offers two fine a la carte menus for lunch as well as dinner – both of which feature internationally-inspired and sophisticated flavours from around Asia and western Europe. You’re going to love this one, so hurry up and reserve a table now.
Cook & Brew is the type of place you’ll end up sticking around for longer than you’d intended to, but who could blame you for that? Situated on the 33rd storey of the Westin Singapore on Marina View, this distinctive gastrobar serves up contemporary interpretations of regional favourites and classic bar bites, along with a well-curated selection of beers and wines, set against splendid views of Marina Bay.
Whether you’re stepping in for a business lunch or for an after-work hangout, you’ll be bowled over by the wide array of local, regional and international favourites at Cook & Brew. Go a la carte to sample chef’s recommendations like the beef pot roast and the signature cassoulet; or order the ploughman’s platter, comprising a generous spread of cheeses, cured meats, kitchen treats, chutney, house pickles, fruit and grilled bread to share with your crew. Can’t decide? Cook & Brew also features set menus for both lunch and dinner, perfect if you’d like to indulge in multi-course dining through a variety of dishes that have been meticulously put together to showcase the best the restaurant has to offer. After your meal, linger over Cook & Brew’s chilled wines from its Enomatic system, or take your pick from the series of tap or bottled lagers, ales, ciders, pilsners and many more options from the bar. Cocktail drinkers would be pleased to know that the bartenders here can whip up a mean cocktail too, so don’t hold back on treating yourself to that mouth-watering apple sour martini if you’re in the mood. A true gem in Marina Bay, Cook & Brew ticks all the boxes when it comes to eating and drinking in Singapore. Just remember to reserve well ahead of time, as seats tend to fill up fast.
I love this place :) will definitely go again and again
Good dining experience. Food and service was exemplery. Went on valentine’s day and ambience was good. There was a live band that night too. Will go back again in future.
Good ambience, service staff were pleasant and food was delicious and well worth the price. Will definitely return again to try the dinner set menu
Fast service. And gave more than what I requested. Would definitely dine at Cook & Brew again!
We enjoyed our dinner at Cook & Brew very much. The food was truly excellent and portions very generous...such that we couldn't finish our dessert. Service seemed a bit short staffed but staff was thoughtful and very polite and helpful. The live singing was a bit too loud for us but the view made up for it. Will definitely recommend this place for the good food and service.
Cook &Brew was a delight to Dine at ..we had a table of 6 and each of us r still talking about the service ..The staff were fantastic..Nothing was a problem ..Do your self a favor and book ..They even prepared a special Anniversary sweet with happy Anniversary in chocolate written on top ..how good is that ..The views were just what u would expect and better ..Get there at 7 and grow into the night with the lights coming on ..Bring your camera..thank u again for very nice night ..Tommy and Sharon Benton ..(Carlton)....
Service was good for 4 of us on a Saturday evening, with extra sauce for the meat-ball appetizer and complimentary bread provided on request for the soup-course. Food was well-prepared, portion-sizes were too large - but that is meant as observation, rather than criticism, as we packed the uneaten food to take home. Ambience needs improvement - lighting is very dark as though for a romantic dinner. Yet the menu is bistro-food . . . hearty portions of mainly comfort-food. Better to be able to see clearly, than needing to use the torch-app on your cell-phone to read the menu. Overall, a good experience - score it 5 stars upon 6.
Great ambience & service! We loved the Pad Thai Fries because it was so unusual yet so good! However I’ve to say their strength seems to lie more in appetisers & desserts than mains. The service however was fantastic; we gave some feedback regarding our main & the staff instantly offered a change to another item on the menu even though we had ordered from a fixed set meal. The view & decor is fantastic as well, so I would give this place another go.
Staff are friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Singapore Fried-Bee Hoon's lobster was excellent; the bee hoon also had a special taste—perhaps fried with lobster broth/sauce. Poutine"eh" was a little too salty for our taste. It may go well with a wine. The Pad Thai Fries was pretty good too! It uses sweet potato fries which imparts a natural sweetness to the dish. Beer selection is huge and very affordable for a place like this. Will be back again.
Staff were really friendly and warm when we arrived. The 4 courses were served at a good pace. We loved the starter (Korean Beef Carpaccio)! Portion of the hot appetizer (Turkey Meat Balls) could be slightly smaller to make more space for the mains. The Handmade Ricotta Cavatelli was really good!
