But, when it comes to eating out at this Singapore hotspot – what are you going to eat? First things first, you have to choose which soup base you and your fellow diners want to tuck into. Choose from options such as herbal chicken soup, spicy Sichuan soup, fish soup with milk and more. Then, it’s time to get down to the big decisions at Raffles Place’s City Hotpot Shabu Shabu... Wagyu beef or pork belly? Lamb leg or Angus short ribs? And that’s just the very beginning! This is one Singaporean dining experience you won’t want to miss, trust us.
Very value for money hotpot establishment, we are a group of 5 whom ordered the 6-person set meal, only cost $52 per pax. which consist of personal soup base, drinks and a wide variety of items (beef, pork, seafood, veg). Attentive service, would def return
Highly recommended. Clean and nice environment. I ordered signature wagyu beef set and it’s very fresh and super tasty. It’s also good for lunch with colleagues and best service. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice fish milk soup and another was mala soup, fresh ingredients and worth to try. Good service with comfortable environment. Definitely will back again and reserve with Quandoo.
The soup bases are among my personal favourites in the way of steamboat, and the staff are attentive, patient, warm and service-oriented. Thanks for another great dining experience :)
It was a nice atmosphere to dine in. Although the varieties of food for the hot pot is not very wide, the food is fresh and reasonably priced in sets; portion in sets is enough for a person. The menu of choices is flexible too. We can order 2 pax sets + add an extra soup pot for a third person; since we are small eaters and not able to finish the portions, we can even add on ala carte dishes for certain food we liked. The beef and pork slices are not too thinly sliced, that's a thoughtful gesture (whereas some other restaurants had meat slices that are so thin that it dissolved in the hot pot).
First time here and it was a dismal experience :( Don't enjoy giving below average reviews but looks like unavoidable in this case, especially for a much raved about shabu restaurant! Overpriced set meal with a mere 9 thin slices of pork and a basket of veg. For the same $25 one can enjoy free flow meats & veg with similar quality elsewhere :) No point paying extra for the looks here when their service is rushed and attitude a little rude! Won't be back here for sure lol.
Super filling meal. Lunch set was value for money. Love it. Super filling meal. Lunch set was value for money. Love it.Super filling meal. Lunch set was value for money. Love it.
The soup base was good but the tom yam was salty. We ordered a set for 4 to be shared by 3 person. The waiter offered an exchange of vegetable for the extra staple which we didn't want.
Absolutely love this place. Lots of teenage vibes in the area - neon lights and graffiti walls help make the place seem somewhat themed and livelier. While you're there, go for the truffle short ribs beef bowl
Bright space with plenty of options to choose from. Food was good and I like the many sauces available. They will refill soups too and get the wagyu lunch set
