Singapore may have no shortage of steamboat restaurants, but Chuan Yang Ji is offering something a little bit different, specialising in mutton soup steamboat. With a couple of locations in Singapore, it has established itself as a favourite of many, known for its superlative soup bases, fresh ingredients and friendly service. Situated on Lorong, Chuan Yang Ji’s Geylang branch is the perfect place for a get together with friends or family. We recommend trying some of Chuan Yang Ji’s speciality mutton options! As well as steamboat you’ll also find an array of Sichuan dishes, perfect for whetting your appetite before getting tucked into the main affair. Spaces at Chuan Yang Ji in Geylang are limited, so to avoid disappointment making a reservation in advance is recommended.
Nice steamboat! And food is great and price is reasonable. Walking distance to mrt and that is a parking lot near the restaurant hence a good place for gathering
Generally nice food and service, except that no one came and serve the fish/prawn cake, and we were not awarded of the tool to cut it into the pot.
The food is quite nice, pretty big portion for the steamboat set meal too, I very much love the soup base. Just that the restaurant is a bit small, sitting lay out is not too comfortable.
Great services by the services staff and the food of cos are great too ! :) Will visit CYJ again will soon and bring my parent along.
