Dale Chihuly is one of the world’s premier artists, and his blown glass sculptures are known as some of the best that can be found anywhere. If you’re in Singapore and you’d like to see some of his best works, then you need to visit the Chihuly Lounge on Raffles Avenue, ensconced in the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore in Marina Bay. As you can imagine from such a location, the views of the Singapore skyline are exceptional, and when you combine that with the some 4,2000 art pieces – including several Dale Chihuly originals – in their collection, then you know that you’re in one of the best venues in the city.
The mesmerising panorama and the astounding art collection is one thing, but if you’re going into the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore for something to eat, then you need to have a little more than that. Luckily, the Chihuly Lounge doesn’t disappoint in this regard. Their afternoon tea is particularly spectacular, with an 8 course menu that takes in both food and drinks: tea selections, cakes, savoury dishes, ice cream and more. There is also often a visiting pianist, to add that extra frisson of class to the occasion. Art, architecture, food, drink and ambience: what more could one want from an upscale dining experience in Singapore? Book a table at Chihuly Lounge today.
