Cavemen Restaurant & Bar is Singapore’s premier butcher and bistro serving up artisan charcuterie, aged cheeses, fine wines and of course, coffee. This is the perfect spot to treat yourself to an array of fine foods that you won’t find anywhere else – its location a stone’s throw from Novena station in Balestier makes it easy to reach. We recommend stopping in for Cavemen’s Sunday Lunch, which features an array of delicious specials like braised pork belly rice with pickled vegetables, truffle shoestring fries with grated Parmesan, and the amazing beef ragu penne. There’s plenty more where that came from, so be sure to reserve ahead of time to secure a table at this buzzing spot on Jalan Dusun.
This was our first visit to a new eatery that is affiliated with the butchery next-door. There is a decent selection of small and medium plate dishes and you can also order meat from the butcher and get it cooked for you for a fee. The food was good. Of note were the pasta vongole and seafood paella.
Good services from this restaurant. They are polite and and explain to customers how foods are cooked. The prices are reasonable. It is a good place for family gathering.
