Inspired by the cosy, homely restaurants of Milan, Turin and Florence, step inside Casa Tartufo and you’ll instantly feel like you’ve been transported from Erskine Road to Italy with its traditional decor and relaxing ambience, even more so when you try the authentic, home-style Italian cooking on the menu. Whet your appetite with some antipasti like the uovo (scrambled egg with fresh truffles) or capesante (pan-fried scallops, parmigiano & truffle fondue and caviar). Then, try some homemade Italian pasta, some fresh seafood like the merluzzo (Atlantic black cod, caper and raisin zabaione) or go for a carne dish like the fiorentina (Casa Tartufo’s signature t bone steak with garlic and sage). For a rustic Italian dining experience in Singapore’s Tanjong Pagar, book a table at Casa Tartufo.
The food and service was great. Ordered Truffle pasta and rib eye and wasn’t disappointed. Steak was better than some well known steak house. Didn’t have to wait long for the food to be served.
Always a great experience there. The restaurant feels like home. x
The atmosphere was great and I enjoyed most of the food that was recommended to us (burrata, carpaccio, truffle pasta, lamb chops, tiramisu and molten lava cake!). The only thing that was off was the sea urchin in the cold pasta; it wasn’t fresh and made the entire dish taste weird.
