Inspired by the cosy, homely restaurants of Milan, Turin and Florence, step inside Casa Tartufo and you’ll instantly feel like you’ve been transported from Erskine Road to Italy with its traditional decor and relaxing ambience, even more so when you try the authentic, home-style Italian cooking on the menu. Whet your appetite with some antipasti like the uovo (scrambled egg with fresh truffles) or capesante (pan-fried scallops, parmigiano & truffle fondue and caviar). Then, try some homemade Italian pasta, some fresh seafood like the merluzzo (Atlantic black cod, caper and raisin zabaione) or go for a carne dish like the fiorentina (Casa Tartufo’s signature t bone steak with garlic and sage). For a rustic Italian dining experience in Singapore’s Tanjong Pagar, book a table at Casa Tartufo.
Dropped in on a busy Sunday evening and scored the last two seats at the bar. Sitting at the bar is great for getting ring side view of the chefs preparing the food...
Great service and environment. Foods are special and high quality. The restaurant is quiet. Black truffle is good there. I will definitely come back again.
Service was good and attentive. The menu had a huge selection of food with many truffle dishes. Generous with the truffles and food was delicious!
Great menu and dishes, though in a rather serious setting. Very good vino list, as well as a few nice choices by the glass. A bit more on the special occasion side of things, vs. the proprietor's more low key venue at Mohammed Sultan.
The place is well decorated and the staff are super friendly. However, unless you really love and adore truffle, its a bit too overwhelming with every dish containing truffle, even for dessert. I had a rib eye steak, which is below par, which I totally understand as It's an Italian restaurant. My partner loved the place though.
beautiful place, great ambience, good for dates. nice mood lighting, steak was fantastic, risotto nero was delicious. would definitely go back again. could do with more wines by glass options.
Good restaurant we like to enjoye the terrasse qnd the servixe was good but not do friendly. We will not go back soon but it was a good dicovery of a traditionel old Sing house
Not the first time here. Foods keep high quality. I most like the truffle noodles here. We ordered pasta and risotto, they are also not bad. Good location.
Had the lunch set with soup of the day (potato), risotto and dessert. Great flavouring for the food. Taste was good. Risotto rice could have been softer.
Good variety in the menu and the wine list provided a wide choice. Efficient and friendly service. The food was tasty, well prepared and ingredients fresh
