While Japanese and Italian cuisines may seem completely different (and they really are), Caffe B has somehow managed to carve a niche for itself by combining the two kitchens to create a unique dining experience all its own. And best of all, it’s all served in a gorgeous setting in Singapore’s Marina Bay, conveniently located near Raffles Place, Gardens by the Bay and just steps from Bayfront station. Ideal for private hire, there could hardly be a better place to host your next function than Caffe B’s rooftop al fresco bar, overlooking the entire city.
Come in to Caffe B during the evening hours for the restaurant’s degustation menu and sample Japanese-Italian dishes such as black squid ink tonnarelli with sea urchin and eggplant in a cream sauce, Japanese momoiro pork with barolo and seasonal vegetables, and pan-fried Norwegian salmon with potatoes. Perfectly matched with a selection of wines and including a dessert (espresso matcha cheesecake, for example), it’s the perfect way to let Caffe B’s skilled chefs introduce you to their special take on Italian and Japanese cuisine. With its high-end offerings and stunning views, this Marina Bay dining establishment usually packs in a full house – reservations in advance are essential.

The salmon is really good. Mash is really yummy too. Food is a tad expensive but it is great that The Entertainercan be used here.
Tried the lunch menu on my return visit and was duly satisfied. Very reasonable 3 course lunch options complemented with the consistent good service and delightful ambience. Go early for a quiet table for business lunches or simply a quiet lunch experience. Well done.
Quiet and comfortable ambience coupled with great service, a perfect place for a meal for two and even a business lunch. Had the classics like mushroom soup and porcini risotto which were both excellent. Already have plans to return next week.
Very good value set lunch. I had the tender and juicy beef. My friend enjoyed the vegetarian main course. Dessert was delicious. Excellent service. Will be back.
Attended the restaurant week here for 3 course meal @ $35++. Overall the ambience is nice service was prompt but food wise not value for money. The main course I chose prawns and it was fantastic but the starter and desert were nondescript and bland really small portions. Basically I paid $35++ to have two prawns which are quite big but not lobster size and then $44++ for 2 champagnes. If money is not an issue to you this restaurant is recommended and provides a nice romantic venue for couples.
The service was great. The waiters were courteous and they kept asking if we were comfortable. The food was fantastic. We requested for the beef and it was very tasty. It was not dry and the meat was tender. The spaghetti we ordered was also sweet. Good food and good service. Best place to be.
The lunch set menu is worth trying! The food portion is just nice and the service provided is excellent. Will definitely visit Caffe B again!
Firstly, I liked the way the tables were arranged in the restaurant which allowed dinners to have private conversations. I ordered the set lunch during my visit. I selected the steak which was excellent. On the other hand, the salad was passable. Overall, the meal was good and the set lunch was a great value.
Back to one of my favorite lunch spots in the city after countless visits. menu's changed a little and I was surprised to find some of my familiar favorites missing. service was a little disappointing this visit even with just five tables being serviced. Hope the experience is better next round.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was great. I had lobster pasta and the seafood was fresh. My husband had their signature set with wine pairing, and her thoroughly enjoyed himself.
