Brazilian food has come to Singapore in a big way in Braseiro, a wonderfully simple concept that brings the flavours of a modern churrascaria to the city’s Joo Chiat Road. It’s a simple place when you get down to it: one price, three choices of meat and an unlimited supply of chips and fresh salad. The devil is in the detail, the meat is of a supremely high quality and the traditional Brazilian grill brings a sharp charcoaled flavour to the meats.
For a city with everything, it’s pretty impressive that the Braseiro team have managed to bring something so wholly new to Joo Chiat Road. Their suck-it-and-see approach to food is bringing the best of Brazilian churrascaria to Singapore’s grateful carnivores. As wonderful balm to our hyper-consumerist culture, Braseiro’s menu has three choices and that’s your lot. We advise two things before you head down there: check if your guests eat meat, and don’t fill up on the limitless chips, otherwise, you really can’t go wrong with perfectly barbecued meat can you?
Reserve a table for my hubby Birthday's surprise. Service is excellent, food are excellent, everything is excellent. My hubby love Braseiro. Thanks for everything. They have the best steak in Singapore. This steak is second to none. The chef and owner are very nice people. I like the fact that they use fresh potato for their fries and it is free flow. You must try eating here!

Excellent value for money!!! Where else in Singapore can you get a nice ribeye steak and free flow of HOMEMADE fries (I almost forgot how good fries can be when they are made from fresh potatoes) for less than 20 SGD? Nice waiters are also a real plus. We will definitely be back!
I bought the voucher for the Braseiro buffet. For a reasonable price of $19.90, we received free flow salad, baked fries as well as steak, kebab and roast chicken. We arrived early and were seated on the first floor. The décor was clean and simple, reasonably comfortable for an evening but it did get pretty warm and stuffy after awhile. Diners might want to consider sitting upstairs instead. Drinks are not included in the voucher so I ordered a caiprinha. Considering the price, the glass was really tiny. I would suggest just getting a beer or a soft drink instead. That aside, it tasted quite all right. We were served a huge metal tray of baked fries and a big bowl of salad to start with while waiting for our meats. The fries were well seasoned but a little soggy as they were baked instead of fried but it was an interesting change. The salad was a simple one, with lettuce, tomatoes tossed with a citrus dressing. It was good to have to counteract the meatiness of the buffet. We ordered the ribeye steak and kebab. The kebab consisted of very big chunks of beef and grilled peppers and onions. The big chunks of beef tasted good but were generally too tough and we had a tough time sawing through them with our steak knives. The ribeye steaks were thinly sliced and very generously seasoned with salt and ground black pepper. The steak was a little on the thin side but was reasonably tender and tasty. Since it was a buffet, one could get over the thinness by ordering more servings of it. =) Some eaters may find the kick from the pepper a little too much. On a whole, the concept is interesting but I feel that there is room for improvement if the restaurant wants to establish a strong customer base and survive in Singapore’s cut-throat food industry.
Appreciate that the restaurant generously squeezed in a seating for me although originally said was fully booked. Food is good, but the downstairs seating is somewhat stuffy, though I suppose can't be helped (especially since mine was a last-minute booking).
Good friendly, hospitable service. Very attentive service. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice terrace hidden on the 2nd floor. Good steak. Recommend this hidden gem to people staying outside Joo Chiat area.
Restaurant is a simple setup... Chicken was nice and tender but the beef kebab was a bit tough. Service by a pleasant waiter. Choices was limited but the buffet option was good.
Great place with great service! Only needs to find some parking place. Wonderful concept of having one main dish with free flow salad and fries. Choices aplenty for the sauces too,
Only enjoyed the chicken thighs, breast was dry. Our kebab was extremely overlooked and charred. The steak was soso. The chicken thighs and the free flow fries and the sauces saved the day. Won't complain as it was good deal with groupons. Will not go if no deals.
