Singapore is spoilt for choice when it comes to culinary delights, but Bottega is something special. Not just your typical Italian restaurant, these artisan specialists have transformed this Tanjong Katong Road space into a traditional Italian grocer and gastro bar. Serving delectable antipasti dishes, pizzas and pasta, it’s the house made dough that sets this Italian trattoria in Marine Parade ahead of the rest. Bottega is set to be a Singapore institution, and we highly recommend you book a table online to sample this slice of Italy for yourself.
The food and service was excellent in the past few visits. Unfortunately, this visit was marred by inattentive, inexperienced staff who seemed to have been called in on a last minute notice. They failed to attend to our table first even though we arrived earlier than neighbouring tables. They have also failed to advise on the waiting time for food which ended up being 45-60min which is not the usual waiting times we have experienced on previous visits. Food quality is still good but if the service quality continues to be subpar, we will not be returning anytime soon.
It is my favorite place to have pasta. Somehow the pasta there tastes different and better. The pizzas are also quite good. The price is reasonable
Food is excellent though it took quite a long time to be served.

Literally translating to shop in Italian, Bottega is an Italian artisan grocer and gastro bar in Singapore’s Marine Parade. You can feel the passion and love these Italian connoisseurs have for Italian food and culture as soon as you enter their space, and your tastebuds will certainly agree after devouring the sensational items from the menu. The team at Bottega have used traditional Italian cooking methods to create their rustic dishes and no detail is overlooked – from their homemade dough for the pizzas and pastas to the rich and flavoursome homemade tomato sauce with herbs using only Italian tomatoes.
We recommend starting with a selection of antipasti dishes to share, like the cozze, burrata and tris di patate, before perhaps moving on to the inspired linguine with clams, white wine sauce and pistachios. It’s also worth making sure you save room for a tiramisu as it’s the perfect end to this culinary journey. With an array of Italian goods to select, menu items that will leave you on cloud nine and Italian beer, wine and aperitifs to choose from, Bottega is Singapore’s little taste of Rome. Book today to experience this Tanjong Katong Road gem today. Buon appetito!
