Head out west to Singapore’s Biopolis Street for one of the city’s best places for big group dining with laidback small plates and snacks. Bodacious Bar and Bistro in Buona Vista has a menu that is absolutely bursting with lots of tantalising French and European dishes. Their fabulous grub comes alongside some of Singapore’s very best coffee so even if you don’t have time for some eats, Bodacious Bar & Bistro is a great spot for a coffee date from 11am every day.
The coffee is first-class at Bodacious Bar and Bistro, while their French and European food offering is committed and unpretentious. The team are delivering a semi-fine dining concept with exceptional small plates on offer and a well-stocked wine and whiskey bar which certainly seems to be pulling crowds out to Buona Vista. Opened in July 2014, Biopolis Street’s latest venture is already making a name for itself as the spot for great food and drink with friends. The dining room’s long tables are ideal for larger groups, especially those that like to complement their meal times with a tipple or two.
Ideal for personal celebrations as well as corporate events, Bodacious Bar and Bistro can whip up a mean cocktail and canapé reception or a glamourous buffet or set menu, at the drop of a hat. The varied French and European menu covers all bases, with something for everyone on offer. Choose from dishes such as mini pulled pork sliders, handmade tuna croquettes with greek yoghurt mayo, hot and spicy chicken wings, Boston lobster bisque, Iberico pork ribs, squid ink risotto and chicken roulade stuffed with wild mushrooms and foie gras. Intrigued? Book a table at this Biopolis Street spot between 11am and 10pm every day of the week.
The price of the food is reasonable but the service is so so,i come at 7pm ,there are only half full, overall i would recommend the pice for budget gathering.
Food and ambience was great but the portion of the food was quite small. There were also live band singing in the evening so the place was lively.
Although food is tasty, the portion of the food is small and not that value for the money. In fact it’s a little overpriced for the remote location.
Was asked to seat outside as the indoors area was booked for an event. Food was quite ok, service was prompt. Good thing is the quiet ambience
Service really needs improvement. I had finshed my main course but my friend has not and was still eating when the waitor just came and took away both plates without asking. He walked away so fast with the plates and did not hear me shouting at him due to the loud music . The same happened 10mi s with the drinks and this time both our drinks had 1/4 left . he took it away without asking. I had to stand up, stop him and told him to leave them back at the table. Probably will stay off this place for a while due to the bad experience
good service, nice staff, will go there again, will intro people to go there and have their business lunch or other meeting or events if they need
nice ambience, cozy place to have dinner as it wasn't too crowded in the evening. love the spaghetti vongole, but the truffle fries could have been crispier.
The food is good overall but was a bit disappointed when I ordered a few of the dishes that I want and popular are not available.
Good environment just a bite hard to find.about 10mins walk from train station.Portion of the food is acceptable with the friendly price.i will recommend the place.
Went there for eggs Benedict but no more eggs as the waiter said. So disappointed... So tried the signature fish & chips. It was too oily.
