Welcome to The Belvedere Hotel, where the mind boggling view is matched only by the food that comes out of the kitchen. Sitting pretty on the shores of Woody Point – Woodcliffe Crescent, to be precise – The Belvedere is one of the best spots in all of Brisbane for viewing the Australian sunset, all you have to do is choose which of the bars or dining spaces you feel like sitting in. Whichever you choose, you can be sure of two things: fantastic Australian cooking and a menu full of quality drinks. And it’s really that simple, throw in warm service and passionate staff and it’s not difficult to see why The Belvedere is so popular among Woody Point and Brisbane locals.
Just a 30 minute drive from the bustle of Brisbane’s CBD, foodies and sunseekers can find The Belvedere Hotel, a glorious spot at Woody Point where great Australian food comes together with perfectly chilled drinks and one heck of a sunset. Rooted in history but definitely young at heart, The Belvedere – well-located on Woodcliffe Crescent – looks out over Bramble Bay and either one of its four sleek dining and drinking areas make a worthy viewing spot. All are stylishly decked out and are available for private hire, functions, parties or weddings. The team at The Belvedere cannot do enough for you, and that includes talking you through the menu.
Speaking of which, the menus at The Belvedere offer the best of modern Australian cookery and cuisine, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Foodies of Brisbane know the drill, and flock to Woody Point to enjoy fresh oysters fresh from the water at the foot of the restaurant, zesty, seasonal salads and plenty of hearty mains. Some highlights we just have to point out include the panko crumbed chicken parmigiana, the beer battered fish of the day and the mighty, 500g T-bone steak. Oh, and the seafood towers, well, you[‘d be a fool to miss them. Kick back and relax The Belvedere Hotel, you will not be disappointed.
Perfect afternoon at Woody Point. We go their regularly and once again it did not disappoint. Would recommend anyone looking for an relaxing afternoon to attend the Belvedere!
We had an absolutely fantastic evening celebrating a 21st celebration. Venue was fantastic, food was great and delivered in a timely manner - given the size of our group, staff were so obliging and friendly.
Great atmosphere, Lovely food, friendly staff. Perfect location for a get together. Catered for everybody, even for my 13 yr old daughter. Definitely go back.
Lovely place, amazing service. They had a variety of food and was very reasonable priced. Didnt take long to find a park, overall a lovely restaurant :)
Myself and 7 family members went for a Saturday lunch recently to The Belvedere Hotel. We had booked a table but weren't happy with the table we were given and even though they were quite busy the staff were great and managed to find us a more suitable one - perhaps just ask not to be seated in the dog friendly area if you're not taking your dog!! The staff are friendly, the setting beautiful and there was a great atmosphere. The only slight negative was the food did take a while to come out, but it was very busy and worth the wait.
The venue is in a good location with trendy set up. Chicken GF was a nice order although my friend's order of the pumpkin salad out did the chicken. The salad option was a great choice for her as she is eating mostly plant-based and whole grain. She said the hardest thing is to find a decent place to eat out with her dietary restrictions. A constructive piece of feedback: while we were chatting and had finished dinner (around 8:30/8:45 pm on Friday) the table was being cleared of silverware and settings. We may have chatted over another drink or dessert had our setting not been cleared or someone proactively asked if we would like another round. You may be missing out on potential revenue and leaving money on the table by clearing tables early (creating a feeling that we need to leave) and by requiring guests to make the movement toward ordering dessert/drinks later on in the evening.
This was our first visit since the refurbishment. Once our meal was ordered the food arrived in a very short time, 10 minutes on Easter Sunday was quicker than any of us expected. The quality of the food was very good and the meals well presented and plenty of it. Meals ordered varied from wagu burger, salads and steak. There was plenty of staff to remove 'dirty' plates and staff checking on the standard of the meal. The refurbishment has opened the restaurant and locating the bar to its new position was ideal. The only disappointment was the crab mornay no longer on the menu. This dish was to die for and would love to see it back on the menu. Will be back
The Belvedere is a great place for families to meet up. Eg. We live at Caloundra, my son and his wife live at Moorooka in Brisbane and my daughter, husband and family live at Labrador on the Gold Coast. We have been there now on a few occasions and will be returning. Ticks for ambience, service was a bit slow on Sunday but then the venue was packed with regulars and others who came to see the big fight so we were not disturbed by having to wait a bit longer. Food is well presented and offers a good variety of choice. Staff are all lovely people and very welcoming and helpful. Overall a Happy place.
Amazing atmosphere and great meals! The location is perfect and the theme and decor reflect the surrounding water, parks and walkways. Relaxing on a Sunday afternoon, or meeting up with friends for dinner, The Belvedere Hotel is a very popular spot.
Haven't been since the latest Reno, looks good and we were given a nice table in the corner lounge with cushions - good and comfortable. I had the fish of the day which was salmon, presented and cooked beautifully; my partner had the rib fillet, ask for med/well done, and that's exactly what he got - very happy. Plates cleared away timely. Amenities were clean and tidy, beer cold - We will return. PS: allow time to find parking for your car.
