Great food and great service though the price is quite pricey. Good ambience and definitely will visit again with my family. And will also recommend friends .
Food was amazing and fantastic service as always! Collagen soup base is delicious, especially with dumplings and beancurd skin. Reservation process is really fuss free and simple.
Food was Fresh and Environment very Good! Service was Excellent too, they make you feel like a king! We did not even need to ask for refill, servers are super attentive! Will definitely go back again
This restaurant provides very good service. Each of the employees are well mannered. There are a large variety selection of good food in the menu as well as condiments & fruits.
Interior – Nice interior design and great ambience! Table to table is not too near which make dining experience more relaxed and enjoyable. Service – Double thumb up !!! High service standard and attentive to all table requests. The staff bowed at all customers with full 90 degree bow ! The staff would automatically refill the soup, without us asking. The free yuzu ice which they served after our meal was a refreshing drink after the hotpot. Food – We ordered 4-in-1 soup pot which we could try 4 different kinds of soup base. There is a total of 6 soup bases which you could select. Collagen soup is one the best which must not be missed. The mushroom soup tasted even better after the ingredients have been cooked in the pot. The Chicken Herbal soup tasted great too. Tomato soup also provided a different superb taste. As for drinks, you could order free flow of Luo Ha Guo or Sour Plum which go well with the hotpot. The food served are all with great taste and best quality!
COME EARLY. It gets real crowded here and do be patient if you are coming for a dinner as they usually are very packed, and not everyone sticks to the 1.5hrs dining time. The collagen soup is a must have and honestly the calling card of this restaurant. Recommendations include the fish tofu, mushrooms to soak up the soup, beancurd skins, the thick potato noodles, and the pork and chive dumplings. Portions can be deceivingly small so do not order with your eyes! Also, if you don't need condiments, tell the staff! They will auto-include it in your bill if you don't say anything. Good service (though wish they would stop bowing so low), though slow as it's really packed. Always a pleasure to dine here.
The new pastel colour scheme makes the recently-relocated restaurant look bright and cheery. However the way the seats are arranged at some of the tables 'trap' those unfortunate diners seated at the inside of the corner booth seats - very inconvenient and irritating when you need to get in and out of your seats, and a feat for plus size people. Like that fruits are now included in the cover charge, but what happened to the staple - rice?? At $1++ a bowl, it certainly discourages diners from eating white rice! The service (what's with the deep bowing - do away with it please!) and food quality are what draws me, but the horrible seating means I'll probably dine there less often now.
Pretty good selection of dishes! Meat quality was good and each slices were of decent sizes! Best thing of all was their fried beancurd! Fast dip into the boiling soup for a couple of seconds, not only does it retains its crispness but at the same time soak up some of the soup essence. It's like crunchy yet bursting with the collagen/ma la soup.
The food is nice, especially the collagen soup with the beancurd skin. But the aircon is too strong, made us shivering when the steamboat is off, next time must prepare to bring a jacket. The 90 degree bow is also too much an extreme, though it meant nice and respectful, but it backfires because it made us uncomfortable. Hopefully the service staff doesn't need to bow so much in the future.
service is good but I don't like about this restaurant because they restrict you to finish everything by one and half hour. For steamboat usually we will take more time to finish the food and everyone prefer to slowly eat and cook their food. I find that they really push you to finish by that timing which I don't get this issue when during at Hai di Lao. They don't rush you to finish the meal.
