Ban Leong Wah Hoe Seafood Restaurant is no doubt a culinary gem in Singapore. First starting off as a rice stall in 1986, three decades later this Upper Thomson eatery is now widely celebrated and recognised for its signature Singaporean cuisine. You can expect a variety of fish, oysters, scallops, abalone and more. As for dish recommendations, they’re especially famous for their chilli crab, black pepper crab, har cheong gai chicken and Chinese birthday noodles – all absolutely must tries. So come hungry, or with a group! The dining room is spacious and the atmosphere is casual, meaning its perfect for feasting with family or friends. Food was good. Order the homemade chrysanthemum tea, it’s nice and free flow
Great seafood (chilli and pepper crabs) and the famous "har jiong gai" prawn paste chicken are very delicious!
