Located in the gorgeous heritage Adonis Hotel along Purvis Street, between Beach Road and North Bridge Road in Bugis, this internationally-inspired restaurant is incredibly well connected. Connected to Singapore city and the central business district, and a heap of history; but also globally connected, with the influence of Europe and the Mediterranean writ large on Argo’s menu. Predominantly a pasta restaurant, there are plenty of flourishes that set Argo apart from the rest.
Small restaurant but nice food with reasonable prices. Easily missed as signboard is not easily noticed.
Food was nice and decently priced. The portions were a little bit small though. However, I must say that the service was exceptional. Attentive care and paid attention to our needs throughout. Definitely worth a shot!
Quaint and serene surroundings with prompt service. Lots of little value added services such as free treats / bites by the side to cater to the sweet tooth! Plenty of pasta for a small place, including Asian delights like chili crab pasta.

Brunch, lunch, and late lunchtime refuellers should try the Argo green salad, which is no ordinary green salad. Organic greens, roasted pine nuts, cherry tomatoes and dried cranberries are drizzled with a Kozo enzyme dressing to unlock the ingredients’ secret reserves of ancient chi.

The main event at this Bugis international restaurant down Purvis Street is Argo’s selection of pasta dishes. Colourful and authentic, choose a type of extruded durum – penne or spaghetti – and then your style – all Italian, all the time: carbonara cremoso, al funghi, or all’Arrabbiata three ways (classic vegetarian, with chicken, or with shrimps).
