About alittle tashi

alittle tashi in Singapore looks modest from the outside, but once inside it’s stylish and relaxed. Drawn in by the decor, it won’t be long before you’re in the mood for some amazing food from across the globe, all prepared with an Asian flair. The chef and owners here created the menu by remembering their Chinese upbringing and discoveries from their travels. The ingredients are a reflection of countries travelled — from harissa to yuzu soy, escargots to blood cockles. It is a menu that reveals the evolution of the Singaporean palate, influenced by diverse cultures and cuisines of the world. If you fancy a bit of a chill, alittle tashi in Jalan Besar also has a second space, separate to the restaurant by the name of the Laundry Room. There you can hang out with friends in a lounge space and just kick back. So whether you are looking for a meal, or an escape for after-work drinks, alittle tashi on Tyrwhitt Road is the go-to spot in Singapore.

The chilled atmosphere here provides a small nook of tranquility amongst all the amazing sights and energy the city has to offer. The main restaurant is a modern, family-style dining room with long tables lining the smooth, polished concrete walls and funky rope lights casting cool shadows around the room. Ambience was great, food was a little too salty for my liking. Overall dining experience was fairly alright.
