Nice traditional italian restaurant. Delicius homemade tomato source. A little bit noisy as an italian restaurant is... X x x x x x x x
They gave away my table when I was 15mins late! I tried to call them when I was running late but only answering machine n do not allow message. Food was great which made up for it!
Excellent Italian restaurant with a good ambience (casual and family friendly). Salad was a tad disappointing as the waitress neglected to inform my partner that there was no avocado (they had run out of it) in the salad, when there ought to be in the first place. Had the vongole which was done to perfection. Portions are decent.
Great food with nice ambience. Service staff are quite ok and not rude. No one raged during my Meal there. Meal is reasonably priced for the quality.
Nice place for dating. But not suitable if u need a quiet place cos this place is noisy most of the times due to the crowd.
Food selection is ok. Not that fancy. Service is pretty good from the manager. Ambience is family friendly, no dress code. overall experience is positive.
We had a lovely time, but the service was quite slow (due to it being a busy night, so understandable). We were served the wrong starter (clams instead of mussels), but didn't want to wait to reorder, and then my main only came as my wife was finishing her food. Great food and atmosphere, though
Very good food. My wife's favorite Italian restaurant. We are here almost every fortnight and love the service. Crowd can be noisy at times but it's fun.
Family friendly place. My kids love the pastas here and keep asking for more. One problem is the parking, but there's a valet service jus outside the restaurant.
Very nice place between siglap and katong. This place is at peranakan hotel. They been around for ages and serves very authentic Italian cuisine. Very good pastas and pizzas with a wide selection of wines and alcohol. Highly recommended
Perfect place for real Italian food in Singapore. Booking is highly recommended, especially for large groups. Pizza is very authentic and the coffee was delicious.
Cozy ambiance with great pasta, pizza and Italian wine selection. The attentive service crew took care of all my guests and ensure all is satisfied
Al forno is a cozy and family friendly Italian restaurant. Good service staff, great food and a good selection of wines. Will be back for more.
They forgot our starter ande need to remind them 3x (OMG) before it was served. This also meant that we had our main dish before starter... The squid ink pasta was tasteless and overcooked. But the pizza was good as usual. One of my worst dining experience with them.
The buffet was great and service was good too! We had an enjoyable experience (: Will definitely be back to try the ala carte menu!
It was a great Italian restaurant on east coast, cheap eats and yet the food are amazing.
Every time I go to Al Forno, I know I will be having good food. Service is not as good as in 5 star but also not bad.
Satisfied with the food as always. However, due to the weekend crowd, service was a bit slow. And there was no bread served to us today?
Nice ambience, good selection of authentic Italian food. Pizza was good, and so were the mussels (down to the last bit of sauce)! Highly recommended
Food taste, quality and quantity are very good as usual, service is very friendly. Friday is normally very crowded and long waiting for the tables, luckily we got the reservation through quandoo, that was very easy and convenient!
Great service. Good food. Excellent ambience. Big portions. Full tummy. Will definitely be back again next time. The whole group of us enjoyed the food.
Good food, nice simple interior, but difficult to park. Good for larger groups as can be quite noisy. Wouldn't mind going back again for sure
Parking spaces are rather limited. Teas were of good quality. Food was great! Pizza base thickness was just right and the crust were yummy! Ingredients quantity on pizza were pretty normal, not too generous. Pasta was tasty and accompanying ingredients were generous.
Very good food and service. Great for large groups. Very vibrant and fun atmosphere. Pizzas and pastas are very good. Tiramisu for dessert is great!
Good value. Food and wine quality good for that price point. Spread a little limited. Service is decent. Will definitely return, fun brunch for groups.
Food was very good as usual, service staff very friendly too. We will definitely be back for the pizza and pasta! Burrata was really good too!
this is one of our favorite restaurants for many years already. Very nice food and fast and good service. Prices are not cheap but very acceptable.
It was this Monday night that my partner and I visited Al Forna after a long absence of almost a year. Restaurant was moderately busy on a Monday night. We ordered clams, lagsana and a pizza. Clams were a bit over cooked. Lagsana were a bit bland which we have put aside after a couple of bites. We asked for the dessert menu after finishing the clams and pizza. We had ordered Irish coffee at least 4 times during our past visits although it was not on the menu. Surprisingly, it is on the current dessert menu. The waiter who gave us the dessert menu did not come back for our dessert order after more than 10 mins. We finally got hold of a senior waitress's attention and ordered lemon cello for two after complaining about the lack of service to her. She brought us the lemon cello and mentioned that it is on the house. This is a nice touch.
My favorite hangout in the east. Good food with valet parking. The desserts are nice!
Great pizza and pasta. After we visited here, we keep ordering delivery almost every week.
The best pizza dough and a wood fired oven! Still the best Italian in town! And having lived in Italy, I know what I am talking about ;-)
Food was great! The price was a little more than the average price but you got them back in your food - "fish fillet" in pasta was actually cod fish fillet :) All in all the place was great just that it could get a little noisy as all the guests were chatting away~
