The pastas are not al dente. Apparently we hv to ask for it. The waitress who take the order should ask customer First how they want their pasta to be cooked. Dont put too much cheese on the carbonara please. But the other pastas is really good
Service was extremely fast and the food was great. The place was abit noisy but overall experience was good.
Service was wonderful and food is what is well known for, superb! Wide selection of wines available as well. Food menu surely satisfies all the picky taste buds.
Nice ambience, great food! Staff was prompt to respond, and very warm. They also offer a valet service in the event that you open a bottle of wine and need some last minute help!
One of the best places to get good Italian food in the east. The clams are a must try! Having the pizza and pasta here makes it hard for you to have Italian food elsewhere. Good place for a date or to bring family. Come with more people, it's easier to share more yummy food :)
food was excellent. service was slightly below average but could attribute it to the busy period. bread came after our starter (bread was excellent, btw), and staff was slightly all over the place. could use some improvement.
It was a good dinner with generous portions. Service was decent but less attentive when the cross arrived after 730pm. On the whole good family dining place if a little noisy.
As always, never disappointed. Love the food and service there
Best spaghetti vongole I've tried! Great food and great ambience!
My fav hangout for authentic Italian food in the east!
Food was tasty, great wine selection at very good prices. Service team very friendly. Good location close to everything. Thanks for a lovely meal in your restaurant.
Ok for our first try dining in. Not the best experience for the price tag
Came to Al Forno with my family for dinner. The atmosphere is very cozy. Ordered Pastas and Pizzas which were all delicious. The bottle of wine that was recommended to us was great. Would definitely come again in the future if my family crave for Italian food.
Prawns terribly not fresh. Squids tasted like rubber bands. Restaurant is very dim and feels deserted on a Saturday evening (only another table of guests besides us).
The food was great! Prices were extremely reasonable for the portion size and the quality of ingredients. Service was prompt and servers were attentive. In overall, a great experience.
Great pasta! Plan to come here for Lasagna and Carbonara, but we're blown away by the crab meat pasta! Made a request to customize the bow-tie to spaghetti instead.
Good pizza, pasta was okay. Price was normal. Selection as okay
This is the first time to order Misto Carne. Lamb and Tenderloin were so great and perfect baked condition. I love it.
Best choice for family friendly Italian restaurant in the east
Service was good. Food is ok but not as good as the last time we were there. Prawn was mushy. Risotto was better than the spaghetti.
Restaurant was very busy as there was a big party going on. Despite that, staff were prompt in service and attentive enough. They offer Sunday buffet lunch.
Good ok but abit pricey. The restr was packed on Sunday dinner. Service was efficient but the ang mo could do wif a friendly smile
Laid back family-friendly restaurant. Many diners seem to be enjoying the pastas and pizzas. We ordered mozarella cheese, Linguine Al Aragosta and Tagliate Di Carne. The mozarella cheese tasted a little harder than others that we have tried. The linguine was good although the lobster didn't taste real 'fresh'. For the Tagliate, we asked for medium-well but it came out very well-done to the point of being burnt for most of the pieces of meat. Will try the pizzas next time!
Great food, lovely ambience and good value. For starters - Carpaccio Napoletano - fresh thin slices of raw beef on a bed of rocket salad topped with shaved parmesan cheese. This was good and the beef left a very clean taste on the palate. For mains, we had the Spaghetti Cartoccio - spaghetti with mixed seafood (crayfish, prawns, squid, mussels, clams), capers, black olives and a dash of chilli in tomato sauce. EXCELLENTE and really good value for money. Would have given a 6 if not that they now charge for bread when most other Italian restaurants, it's usually complementary.
Il cibo è veramente buonissimo, il personale gentile e il proprietario disponibile. Ritornerò sicuramente in questo ristorante ogni volta che verrò a Singapore. Davvero consigliatissimo
The wood fire oven pizza were really good and they had a good variety of pizza and pasta available. It does feel like an authentic Italian restaurant.
A full house wkend crowd as usual. Popular Italian restaurant with people who stays in the east. It's so packed that the restaurant needs a valet service.
Reasonably priced Italian lunch buffet. Service was a bit on the slow side. They put in effort to be Family friendly. Babychairs and booster seats in limited supply. Would be better if they had more on standby.
Wonderful family restaurant that I would revisit in a heartbeat! Despite a busy night, they were accommodating to my two year old daughter. More smiles from the service staff would have been appreciated though.
It was an enjoyable experience, with good food, and good service, as well as reasonable pricing. The location - we need to take a taxi there, just as most places in Singapore, I guess.
The food is excellent. We have only been here twice but it never disappoints. We didn't know they were serving buffet lunch on Sunday so when we walked in we decided to try. Lots of variety to choose from, worth the amount spent.
excellent food and ambience, so-so service truly authentic italian experience quite a wide range of wines & alcohol got fireplace to grill the pizza old skool style
Authentic Italian food at eastern part of Singapore. Wood fire pizza is a must try with a wide selection of pastas and wine. Perfect for a fun evening
Very good authentic Italian food at reasonable prices. Great selection of wines to pair with your food. Must try the desserts, highly recommended! Will come back again
Great and fast service. Food was authentic and truly Italian! Ambience was really cosy and family friendly. We had a birthday cake and they were really thoughtful on the whole presentation process of it.
Nice homely place. Great pizzas from the brick oven! Service was alright. Best to reserve as it can get crowded at times. Prices are reasonable too.
Good food and lovely ambience! The pizza and salmon pasta was delicious. Really enjoyed my time there with my family! Will definitely return to Al forno again!
I felt that it was quite average... we tried a couple of dishes and I don't think I would go back for anything except for the pizza. The pasta wasn't that great. Pizza was decent though. Seafood also wasn't very fresh
Awesome traditional Italian food! Loved the predominate regional menu items. Great wine list Friendly well trained staff. Like being transported into Italy for the evening!
Order of pizzas took an hour to reach our table. Seafood for our pasta wrap was totally unfresh. Finally, their billing machine crashed and we had to wait a long time b4 settling our bill in cash. Wasn't informed that we could settle via credit cards until we saw others doing it.
