More about Al Bacio, Manchester

Fans of proper Italian cuisine in Manchester can all agree that Al Bacio is a rarity. Restaurateur Domenico La Calla and his team work tirelessly to present guests with a taste of the bel paese, and they have earned a reputation for excellence that surpasses any expectations. No matter the occasion, whether it’s an evening out with that special someone or a casual lunch with friends, this Deansgate restaurant – found on King Street – provides a casual yet sophisticated backdrop to any dining occasion. With ample space for large groups, Al Bacio is also a fantastic choice for private functions including birthday parties, corporate functions and more.

If you want to experience your meal in true Italian fashion, begin with some antipasti like the gamberoni e parma ham (king prawns wrapped in parma ham served with diced vegetables) before moving on to a hearty Italian main. We recommend the spada in agrodolce (swordfish steak, served with a sultanas, pine nuts, cherry tomatoes and a sweet and sour sauce) or some homestyle lasagna, cooked just the way your nonna would. Stop in at Al Bacio in Manchester’s Deansgate for an unparalleled Italian meal – buon Appetito!
