The seafood was very fresh. The steamed sea bass and lobsters was especially good. The seafood beehoon was 👍🏻!
Food was good. Unfortunately, fish was overcooked but they did rectify.
Great place with fresh seafood and the broth is delicious!
Pretty poor experience overall- steam fish came cold, and same for most other food items including seafood soup
Busy Friday night so abit hectic with service. We ordered the seafood beehoon which was thumbs up. The chili mudcrab looks promising but was over cooked and just messy to eat.
Food wasnt nice. Totally not worth the price. Service staff were everywhere, very difficult to get them to even order our dishes. Will not visit again.
the food and service was really good! seafood was fresh. enjoyed my meal there.
Tables are small, more suitable for smaller groups. Food was really fresh
Very fresh seafoods and the fantastic size cockles! Been there on numerous occasions with family and friends, they love the seafoods boil too!
Overall, mussels were a boom, super fresh. Prawns were huge and fresh. Lalas were small but tasted sweet as they were fresh. But, mud crab was not impressive. Will come back again for the mussels. 😊
Service was very good :) the cockle wasn't fresh but the restaurant was nice to waive the cost of it
Food took almost an hour to be served even though restaurant was not even fully filled. Ordered the seafood bag and sauce tasted watery and tasteless. Overheard table beside us complaining that their prawn was not cooked. Not worth the price tag for the food imo.
We enjoyed the fresh seafood very much and have a good time!
The food cost more now and quality has dropped from the last time we visited some 2 months ago.
Food was terrible and soggy during peak period. Don't recommend going during peak period as standards drop.
Reservation was fast and easy. However, lalas and kai lan were too salty.
Seafood was fresh. Go for their sambal mussels and crispy kailan tofu!
We used to love going there to enjoy their seafood bowl. Unfortunately, there is an increase in price now, from $18.90 to $22.90. This dish is also not applicable under the Entertainment 1 for 1 deal anymore. Likely will not return.
we were warmly served at ah huat kelong. my picky kids loved the fresh seafood, especially the XL clams.
Well..seafoods are fresh but taste not as fantastic as expected. Price likewise still bearable. Parking is 1 of the big issue as limited parking space. Menu should post some photos for Elderly to easy view & also for whose who do not understand English. Service is excellent. Overall still acceptable.
Poor or no service during peak period. Word ordered were all wrong. Ask to redo must wait 45mins min. A drink takes 30mins to be served.
It was busy the day we dined. It was difficult to get our orders taken. The staff were not rude but they were everywhere, we had to stand around to catch their attention. They could have been more organised. The food was below average. I know I will not visit again.
Seafood was fresh. Unfortunately the mussels and clams ran out. Was quite disappointed with that. But otherwise food is fantastic and worth it!
I love the seafood bowl most! Yummy soup but if they add in prawns will be perfect! The portion could serve 2 pax and they can up some price which will be normal. Could hv gone there in the evening as they have more varieties.
Quiet place for dinner on a weekday night serving decent seafood.
Food standard has dropped significantly, no longer worth its price.
Amazing service and good food we had that night! Only 2 servers and 2 chefs running the whole restaurant, therefore waiting time is a little slower. But overall, I love the balance of the drinks and food. Nothing overpowering and all well balanced. Sauces made in-house and tweaked to still let the seafood shine. Seafood was also on-point, none of it was overcooked. Will be back! Thank you Ah Hua Kelong, I will always support local and sustainable seafood!
A bit disappointing as it's not as good as I anticipated... Service was
I ordered a bucket for 2 and out of the whole bucket there are 2 flower crabs and 1 mussels that are not fresh. When I open up the shell of the flower crab the black water and smell just spoilt my appetite. I had feedback and they change the 2 crabs for us. But still disappointing as the seafood is not as fresh as it should be.
Very fresh seafood served Somehow they have to slightly smash up their mud crabs before serving as their shell is too hard to peel it with our bare hands
Excellent and fresh seafood! Great staff too! Will definitely visit again.
Used burpple app. 1 for 1. Hence value for money. Seafood was fresh.
Good quality, home cooked style seafood at a reasonable price!
Fish was really tasty, cockles were fresh and big but a little dry. Worth it with beyond. Will come again to try other stuff! Thanks!
The seafood stew has no fish compared to the past as previous Chef has left the restaurant.
Food was no good. Chicken wasn't hot inside. Soup was too sweet. Fish wasnt tasty enough. Not returning again. You should really improve the quality of your dishes
There was no crab even though it was on the menu. And was only told we had to pre order when we arrived. We left the restaurant immediately.
Food was underwhelming, clams and mussels were undercooked and seasoning was overly salty. Prawns and fish were decent but generally a disappointing meal compared to the one at turf city.
Food was just okay. The fish was quite nice but the prawns did not seem fresh. It was ridiculous that they ran out of rice and tried to get us to order the beehoon. If you are serving zichar style dishes, the least you should do is to ensure there is enough rice. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our rice, so our dishes were cold by the time our rice was served.
My wife and I went to Ah Hua Kelong @ Riang for lunch. We ordered the seafood bowls and they were so delicious. The staff are friendly too. Will patronize the restaurant soon.
