Great attention to the service, from topping up warm water to the timing of keeping empty dishes. Great culinary skills and excellent food. Easy to find a parking lot within the building.
The food was delicious and service was great! The restaurant was quiet during lunch on a weekday, makes it a great place for business lunches.
2nd time there - again, was great! Looking forward to another gathering so that I can suggest Per Bacco again. Loved all the dishes - Eggplant Parmigiana, Crab Pizza and Lobster Ravioli.
3rd time here... We took quite a while to decide; glad that the staff gave us space and time to think. The meaty calamari and zucchini chips were great! Love the home-made tartare dip! Braised lamb pappardelle, lobster and asparagus ravioli were cooked beautifully! My partner noted that Chef Marco came out a few times to check on the customers; maybe more on us so that he can time when to serve the pasta. I think we took too long to consume our appetizer haha... Food, service, ambience are great as always!
Oysters were worth reserving and it was nice to receive the email prior to our visit. $6 glasses of wine were great value and the specials board produced a great pasta in the bucatini pasta with anchovies. I was expecting the salty slap of tinned anchovies on the palette, but it was a subtle, fresh tasting dish based around an almost creamy base of braised onions. The rib eye was melt in the mouth and full of beefy flavour. Great taste and excellent value, 12 oysters, steak, pasta and 5 glasses of wine under $160, no where else in Singapore I think?
Ambience and service was great; The Crab meat crouqettes and bruschetta were really tasty and great presentation. For mains, we ordered a pizza to share and another starter was recommended, the deep fried mixed veggies - huge disappointment after the earlier great tapas experience. Mixed veggies were cut like fat chips and just piled up on a plate and looked like something you'd get at a fish-n-chips shops. Pizza had a very thick crust on the edges and it was hard to cut (so ended up using fingers) and not eating the crust. Nothing fantastic , pizza tasted ordinary. As this was first time there and it was a special occasion - a birthday - so very disappointed at the mains and second tapas that were recommended. The pana cotta - which was complimentary becuase of birthday - was nice with caramelised hazelnuts. Not someplace I'd be running back to.
Went to PerBacco twice in a week and all my friends loved it. Appetizers, pastas and mains were really good. We were surprised that we didn't hear of this restaurant sooner.
Service was a bit slow, food was good. We stood at the door for about 3 mins, waiting for someone to come to the door. Once seated, we got handed menus and we waited for another 10 minutes before someone came to ask if we're ready for orders. Starters came soon enough, but another long wait for main course. We asked to pack some leftovers and gave up waiting for it, because it again, took too long. Maybe it was just a busy night... Staff were friendly but just not prompt enough
Great service and excellent food! We were the first guest to arrive for dinner, received complimentary glass of prosseco each! Love the burrata appertizer. Home made pasta has a firmer texture compared to other restaurants. u have a choice of small or regular serving of pasta which is great for small eaters. The Hazelnut panna cotta is a MUST TRY!
