Easy to use booking system, reservation in place, fuss free! Definitely helped to make the lunch a more pleasant one. Food was great. Will be back!
Second time here. Service was great, love the Waygu burger and the truffle fries that comes with it. Seafood risotto was really good as well. Taro waffles were really uniqlo and worth a try.
Came here with my friend for lunch and I am impressed with Froth. It has delicious food paired with excellent service from staff. Will definitely go back again!
The food is really niceeeeee~ And the staffs are really friendly as well! First ate at Big Hotel and followed them to Ascott! Overall it's a great dining experience with Froth! :)
Been to froth a few times and I will strongly recommend trying froth! Situated in Big hotel, it seems nearer to walk over from bugis instead of Dhoby Ghaut. The food (otherwise dessert) never disappoints and it is rarely really crowded. Their taro milkshake was sinfully yummy, as well as their taro waffles with earl grey ice cream... Just google any pictures of it and it'll make you drool. If you're not a taro fan, their banana or buttermilk waffles are not bad as well, I personally prefer those than their red velvet waffles. Their baileys iced chocolate drink was not bad as well, which similarly as the milkshakes came in a really huge mug!
Don't get me wrong, I love Froth! But somehow this time our order got forgotten and no staff realised that we had been sitting at our table waiting patiently, with empty plates. 40mins later and we finally have our order. Undoubtely there was some shortage of staff around, but it was also not that crowded. I hope it wouldn't be the case again when they move out!
Good ambience! Cafe looks chill / cool. 2nd visit to Froth. Food was good on both visits. Their cheesy lobster sandwich is recommended. Risotto lovers will like the risotto options. The mixed mushrooms tempura comes in a big bowl, way too much/too oily for 2pax. Such a portion will be good for groups though. Pan-fried salmon was ok. Will be back to try their waffles!
The food was not bad but the service my friends and I experienced was not worth an impression. My group felt slightly outcasted my the service crew. For example when we first arrived, we only ordered tap water while waiting for friends as we did not feel like ordering the 1 for 1 beer that the waitress recommended. As such our order was forgotten and upon reminder the waitress felt irritated and unapologetic. And when I finished my food and requested to look at desserts, the waitress was eager to clear off our plates. She asked before clearing mine but did not ask my friend. As such, my friend's plate was cleared when she had not finished her meal. When we finally asked for the bill, it took a supremely long time. I could understand if the restaurant is busy but there were many wait staff standing around so I did not really understand. 1thing for sure, I will not return because of the service.
Food was good with mostly hits than misses out of the group of food that we ordered. Portion was sufficient. Waffles dessert left us yearning for more. Ambience was average, nothing impressionable. Service was okay, waiter was attentive and good but with miscommunication issues and payment system down, it left us scrambling for cash seeing as the meal price is not necessarily cheap. Food waiting time is rather long. With our first person finishing by the time the last person got her dish despite the same order time. Overall, it is value for money with the entertainer app used, otherwise one may consider to give it a miss, seeing as the ambience may not necessarily make it suitable for special occasions.
Cosy place, nice ambience. Would recommend my friends to visit Froth Cafe. Easy to find too, approx. 15 minutes walk from Dhoby Ghaut to Froth Cafe.
