Decent food and ambience. Service was good, worth a visit.

well as always, they always serve great pasta and pizza.

Authentic no frills good quality Italian food! The bow-tie pasta with crab meat is a must try, as well as the spaghetti vongole. My daughter doesn't eat squid cooked anywhere else except here, what more can I say about the calamari! Lamb chops is nicely grilled, a bit pricey but I will still order it again. Great for families, love the rustic decor!

The food, service and atmosphere was great. My only regret is that I have not come here sooner. Fantastic food and the staff are super friendly as well. Great value for money and now I know why this place is always busy. Will definitely be coming back.

We have not been back for a year and were pleasantly surprised at the expanded menu. Food was still as good. It was rather crowded but service was prompt and the staff helpful.

Good four cheese gnocchi and calzone. Wish they use homemade tomato sauce like 20 years ago instead of canned ones.

Food was good and ambience was nice. It has a very rustic old school feel, the sort of place you grow up going to.

The wait was quite long on a Saturday night as expected, bread was hard/stale and the rocket salad wilted but it’s still the best puzza on the island

The Parmigiana ($20++) tasted pretty one-dimensional, with lots of mozzarella cheese, canned (not homemade) tomato sauce, some thinly sliced eggplant and only about 5 pieces of basil leaves. The dish certainly tasted better elsewhere. The Calzone ($26++) is much better and brought back memories of 20 years+ ago when we used to dine here quite often in the late 1990s. Would have been perfect if they had continued to use homemade tomato sauce. Canned ones just do not make the cut.

Service is good. Food is nice. We had beef, cod fish, pizza, pasta & desserts, all are yummy. My family & I are very happy, will definitely go back again.

Great service, ambience and quality of food. Food is a bit pricey though and the quantity of pasta and desert is small for the price one pays. Conveniently located on East Coast Road.

Beautiful pizza and pasta, with a nice ambience. Only problem is that parking is hard to find, and you may have to park further away.

The food is very good. Though crowded, staff members were unfazed, polite n smiley. Service good n prompt. It was overall a pleasant dinner time with family.

Ordered the squid ink pasta and a seafood pizza. The taste of the pasta was abit over-powering due to the clams but on general, it was good. Generous servings of clams and the pasta was cooked to Al dente. Love the pizza! Thank you for the warm hospitality from the servers, they were a great team. Looking forward to my next visit, soon!

Overall experience was great! A real italian place recommended and recommendable by Italians. Chef Fede is number one! We will definetly be back very soon.

Pleasant attentive service to go with wonderful food. The beef was perfect. The pizza was up to expectations. The venue is a good place for a family and friendly gathering.

The staff are pretty attentive. I ordered the cheese pizza with pear slices. The slices in the menu picture were big and thin, the ones I got were small and thick.

Al Forno is a staple of the restaurant scene in the east. Restaurants have come and go but this grand old dame is still standing, and with good reason. Comfort Italian at good prices, with a vibrant atmosphere. Love it
